About Funds Invested

Since 2013, the Cliff Avril Family Foundation has invested more than $2.4 million in programs and partnerships that create opportunities and improve lives in communities across the United States and around the world.

A champion for healthier communities, the foundation has raised more than $300,000 for Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) through its annual participation in Beat the Bridge and has provided significant support to the American Diabetes Association, helping launch Project Power, a youth-focused initiative that encourages healthy eating, physical activity, and Type 2 diabetes prevention, while also supporting other programs that advance health equity.

Internationally, the foundation has invested more than $500,000 in Haiti, funding a school serving more than 500 students, building 24 homes for families displaced by Hurricane Matthew, supporting mobile health clinics, providing clean water, and hosting youth football and cheer camps.

The foundation has also donated more than $350,000 to organizations including Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic, World Central Kitchen, Hope for Haiti, and WE, advancing health, education, disaster relief, and humanitarian efforts.

In Clay County, Florida, Cliff’s hometown, the foundation invests in local youth through free annual football camps, college and trade school scholarships for graduating seniors, and its signature Family Fun Day, bringing families together for a day of fun, connection, and community.

These accomplishments represent just a snapshot of the foundation’s impact. Through strategic partnerships, community investment, and a commitment to service, the Cliff Avril Family Foundation continues to create opportunities, strengthen communities, and inspire the next generation.
